Learning unlearning

Please call me a fool the day I declare i  know everything!!! 

Please call me a fool the day I stop learning!!! 

Because learning should and can never stop until we are living and breathing and the one who feel he doesn't have anything left to learn is the world's biggest fool.

Learning is an evergreen ever running project. We are always capable of learning something from anyone, anywhere and anytime, if we are amenable to it.

Doesn't a child teach us to be responsible parent?

Doesn't a tiff or an argument teach us about patience?

Even the sun, rain, the changing seasons and infact everything in this entire universe is always imparting it's own lessons, but we are ignorant and immune to them. 

Learning gives us freedom.

Freedom from biases and beliefs passed down to us, freedom from prejudices handed to us, freedom from self depreciation and collapse.

Learning removes the shackles of our mind and sets us free.

Learning enables us to think for ourselves and make discerning judgements about what we see and what we haven't learnt yet.

Our money, family and assets may leave us but knowledge  hangs on till the very end. 

How can then you and me decide to stop learning? 

I am learning as I write this and if u wish maybe you can learn something as you read this?

Please never ever delude urself into believing you know everything and there is no place in your life for any more learning. 

Let's learn my friends and keep imparting some of it to those few still interested....

MILLENNIALS: Time to find ourselves

One day, as our fathers, forefathers and mothers kept renouncing the generational gap, somebody woke up and chose violence. He/ she decided that it's high time we acknowledge and label different generations, hence the "" millennials "" came to be. A sad lost and hopeless generation, stuck between the past and present, analog and digital, artificial and organic, duty and love, wokeness and traditional. We have seen a lot of changes around but not within us. We saw food shift from natural homegrown to artificial and chemical laden. Now we search for overpriced, chemical-free and organic sustenance. We moved from rearing cattle with our parents to becoming lactose intolerant as we age. From postcards and letters we slowly came to perfunctory statuses and WhatsApp messages. What's your time?

Time is finite and time waits for none. Yet time is the resource we waste the most. Time is unpredictable and non- renewable. Yet we spend it senselessly and without thought. Time is so precious and rewarding to those who treasure it. Yet we while it away waiting for the right moment that never comes. Time is now and time is here. But we live our time lamenting the past and fretting the future. Time is so little for plenty, But time is also bountiful for many. But remember time once lost, will never be recovered, unlike money. For some time is never enough, Some want this time to be over and done with,  and then are some in between  Who are not mindful of the time they are living and breathing. Time is running out as I write this and you read it. Yet we while away time in maybes and could have-beens. Time with our loved ones Time doing what we love with passion  Time fulfilling our purpose  Is time lived to its full potential.
